Program Outline of Drury Hotels Internship Program
The following is a suggested schedule for a complete twelve-week rotation. Each section relates to a pertinent area in a hotel’s operation.
While adherence to the schedule would be ideal, the changing environment may dictate assignment to an area that is responsive to the property’s needs.
The Intern’s mentor will be required to fill out the Intern Evaluation Form upon completion in each department (Housekeeping/Laundry, Maintenance, Front Desk/Night Audit/Breakfast and Sales). An evaluation summarizing the Intern’s performance will be written upon completion of the 12 weeks. All information will be faxed to the University Program Coordinator.
